The sweet peppers are doing better than ever, and last week we had the largest sweet pepper harvest the farm has ever had. Peppers tend to like the warm, typically drier weather we often get in late summer and early fall, so hopefully after all of these storms it will dry out again, and we’ll continue to have sweet peppers in addition to all of our greens, roots, and herbs when the fall CSA starts up in mid-late September.
New on the list this week is green garlic, something we’ve previously only grown in the spring. This is the last official Summer CSA delivery. If you missed a week, or started the CSA a week late this year, then you’ll receive an email next weekend for a make up delivery next Tuesday.
